Stages / Tappe

These are the stages, as of today. It is a temporary itinerary. Temporary like everything that it is temporary. But this is it.

23 days total: 19 riding days, 4 rest days. Without meetings, phone conferences, customers and so on. There is enough reasons to go crazy

Crossing 10 states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida.
More than 7,000 kilometers or 4,400 miles approximately. Enough to square our ass.

Larger cities: San Francisco, Las Vegas, El Paso, Albuquerque, San Antonio, Houston, New Orleans, Tallahassee, St. Petersburg, Miami, Key West and naturally Redwood City.

The smallest town is Sanderson in Texas, population 861. With an astonishingly density of 1 soul per 75 square kilometer. According to my research, there is only one lodge. But Beatty in Nevada is neck to neck with the Texan megalopolis. In fact, it is a very crowded town of 1,010 inhabitants. Here according to my research there are three (may be four) lodges, no kidding.

In this tour there are four saints: San Francisco, Saint Petersburg, San Antonio and Santa Fe. Not sure who is Fe.

And there are no city or town where we are staying with the name beginning with a vowel. All of them begin with a consonant. Even Sanderson starts with 'S' instead of a more common 'A' for Anderson.

Highest pass is Lizard Head Pass in Colorado 10,222 ft (3,116 m), the lowest pass is Everglades Pass 1 ft (33 cm).

Currency is USD and the language is English or kind of English.

Keep you posted.
