The Highs:
- Definitely the Coast to Coast in August. It has been a great adventure and the opportunity to see many new places
- The new Moto Guzzi California Custom 1400. Which I bought it precisely to ride the Coast To Coast to avoid to pay the steep rental costs. Well at the end of the day, I paid more than the rental, but if I am able to rode another road trip of a week or more. I will break even or better.
- I survived the daily commutes to work with my motorcycles. I had several close calls, but with some luck and experience I managed to stay out of troubles. But every year it is getting worst and worst. Drivers are becoming more and more distracted and aggressive. And nobody cares...
The Lows:
- Crashes and accidents: To begin with my self inflicted crash in June when I low-sided damaging the MV and a little bit myself. Then the accident during my stay in Italy of September. A distracted driver managed to hit me trowing me on the ground. My Ducati 350SS suffered the most (in fact I had nothing). The problem was/is I can't find all the replacement parts. I am still working on it
What's in store for next year. Not sure, I would love to ride to Alaska or ship the bike to Alaska and ride there up North and back. Will see about that. In alternative I would love to do something more simple, like riding the North West National Parks. It is all about money and stay healthy.
